Interesting Angles
This angle is unique because most people don't observe these stairs from this angle. I took this from a downward/sideways angle.

Pets
It was rather difficult to get pictures of both my dogs, partly because the big one doesn't like having his picture taken, and the smaller is so energetic she hardly sits still long enough to focus the camera.

Close-Ups
What I liked best about all the close-up photos was how much detail you can see on these tiny objects that people normally miss when simply passing by. When you stop and look, the amount of detail on everything is just astonishing, and more people need to take the time to notice them.

Reflections
To capture this image, I stood in front of the glass to cast my reflection onto it. I was not expecting such a ghostly appearance, but the image turned out nicely. The far background appears to be out of focus.
To capture this image, I stood in front of a glass with a red curtain hanging on the other side. There is more light behind me than I expected, though it helps to create more of a silhouette than a portrait. The silhouette seems to be slightly out of focus, though this provides a more "shadow-like" appearance.
To capture this image, I stood in front of a water fountain, looking down at it. The water droplets on the surface create a little more texture, which is good. Most of the image seems to be in focus.
To capture this image, I stood in front of a large board in the school hallway. I did not expect to see the white lines crossing over it. The background seems to be a little out of focus.
To capture this image I stood in an empty hallway. There were no surprises in this photo and most of the image seems to be in focus.
This photo was taken in the same hallway from above. The only thing I did not expect was the loose tile in the ceiling in the back of the shot. Some of the closer photos seem to be out of focus, though this provides a bit more depth to the image.
This image was captured in the gym where a class was going on. Most of the image was expected, so no surprises here. Most of the image seems to be in focus.
I captured this picture by squatting in front of a chair, the leg appearing quite reflective. There was nothing unexpected in this photo and most of it seems to be in focus.
I obtained this image by looking at an angle at a door handle. I was not expecting the subtle texture upon the metal, but it was a pleasant surprise. Most of it seems to be in focus.
This image was captured by standing in front of a fire extinguisher case in the hall. There were no surprises in this photo and it appears to be in focus.
This photo was taken on a whim. I was passing a student with reflective jewelry and asked to take a shot. The only surprise here was the amount of detail captured in the jewelry. The background appears to be mostly out of focus.
I took this photo by standing outside the teachers lounge. I was mildly surprised by the texture of the glass that's visible. Most of the photo seems to be in focus.
This photo was captured by standing at an angle to this colorful sign on the wall. The way the reflective paper is lit, it appears to have a rough texture as it reflects the rainbow. The photo appears to be in focus.
This photo was taken in front of a pair of doors leading into the school breezeway. There was nothing unexpected in this photo and the background out the window appears to be slightly out of focus.
This photo was taken while pointing the camera downwards. I noticed this strip of reflective metal on the floor and so took a picture. There was nothing unexpected about this and it appears to be mostly in focus.
This image was taken at an angle of a reflective wall fixture I passed in the halls. There were no surprises in this photo and it appears to be mostly in focus.
This is a photo taken of a metal bathroom door piece. It is quite filthy, though still reflective. It is completely in focus.
This image was taken in the womens restroom, pointing the camera at the mirror. The only surprise was the pattern on the stall doors. The image is mostly in focus.
Background
What I liked about changing the background for this image was the interesting effects it yielded. The process is tedious, but the result was worth it.

Blemish Remover
Before
After
I do not believe this is a good tool to use because removing the blemishes from your face means you want to change yourself. You should always be happy with the way you are. Those blemishes are just as much a part of you as your leg or your nose.

Lighting
I chose this image because it seemed to have the greatest contrast between light and dark. The angle and subject are engaging and interesting, allowing the viewers eye to flow around the image, while sill being drawn to the center.
